RECO to Join The Addict’s Mom on International Overdose Awareness Day

On August 31st, two members of Team RECO will travel to Washington, D.C. to participate with The Addict’s Mom (TAM) in the FED UP! Rally on International Overdose Awareness Day.

Director of Operations Christopher Pasquale and Alumni Coordinator Maryrose Malecki will make the trip, and will have the opportunity to present RECO’s programming to the impassioned group of mothers involved with TAM.

RECO is honored to partner with TAM in their mission to spread awareness. The FED UP! Rally will include a Candlelight Vigil to recognize those whose lives have been lost to addiction, prior to an organized march of several groups (including TAM) on Washington.

The event will serve as a call to action for federal officials to initiate change in existing drug-related legislation, while drawing attention to the growing crisis that affects families nationwide.
