"I have to say that I am so grateful to RECO for giving me back my life. There are no words to express to deepest integrity this program has to its clients. I truly believe in my heart of hearts that I would not be here today if it wasn’t for the therapist, staff, techs and administrators that have touched my life. I live today because RECO believes." -Kellie R.

Paul Dumont worked here at RECO. But to all of us here, he was more than an employee and coworker. He was a friend. A friend that brightened up the office and our lives. If you knew Paul, you knew he had an unwavering passion for the unknown, to discover the answers within himself and around him, and if you were lucky enough to know him deeply you know you had an extraordinary friend–the kind you find once in a lifetime.
Paul passed away on November 21, 2018 and while he is not here with us physically we know that he lives on through us. Every time we pick up a book to learn more about the world around us. Every time we look up at the stars. Every time we adopt a cat (Paul was an amazing cat parent). Every time we reach out to help someone else. Every time someone steps through the door here at RECO, looking to find recovery, something that Paul also struggled and dedicated his life to helping others through, Paul’s spirit carries through us.
And to honor that spirit, Paul will now soar to the heavens above onboard the upcoming Celestis Aurora Memorial Spaceflight. After the spacecraft returns to Earth, Celestis will return his flown capsule, with his cremated remains still encapsulated, to his family as a keepsake.
If you wish to view Paul’s bio for his flight or to learn more information about when Paul’s flight will be, please follow the link here: https://www.celestis.com/participants-testimonials/paul-owen-dumont/
