Resources & education

Free, in-depth resources for people researching treatment.

Choosing a treatment program is one of the highest-stakes decisions a family makes. We publish the kind of substantive material we wish more programs did — clinical writing, full FAQs, video tours, and alumni stories — so you have what you need to decide well.

How to use this page

Plain-language information from the people who do the clinical work.

Every resource on this page is written or produced by RECO Intensive staff — clinicians, alumni, and admissions specialists who do the work every day. We do not publish marketing language dressed up as education. If you are a prospective client, a family member, a referring professional, or simply someone trying to understand addiction treatment in Florida, the four destinations below cover the most common questions in depth.

If you need to talk to a person rather than read, our admissions team answers calls 24/7 at (866) 396-2008. The first conversation is free, confidential, and carries no obligation.

The RECO Blog

Evidence-based writing on addiction science, treatment options, recovery research, and what families actually need to know.

Our writers are clinicians, alumni, and admissions specialists who translate research and lived experience into practical reading. New articles cover topics including medication-assisted treatment, dual diagnosis care, trauma-informed therapy, family systems, insurance navigation, and the day-to-day realities of early recovery in Florida.

If you are researching treatment for yourself or a loved one and want substantive answers rather than marketing language — start here.

  • Addiction science explained without jargon
  • Treatment-modality deep dives (CBT, DBT, EMDR, MAT)

Frequently Asked Questions

Full, honest answers to the questions families ask most often about admissions, insurance, treatment length, family involvement, and what to expect.

The FAQ page is one of the most-used resources on our site for a reason. It covers what people actually call us about: how long programs run, what insurance typically covers, what makes RECO Intensive different from other Delray Beach programs, how family involvement begins in week one rather than at a midpoint Family Weekend, and what aftercare looks like beyond discharge.

If your question is not answered there, the admissions team can answer it directly — most calls take under fifteen minutes.

  • Insurance, cost, and coverage questions
  • Length-of-stay and continuum-of-care
  • Family involvement and visiting
  • Dual diagnosis and co-occurring conditions
  • What RECO does differently, in plain terms

Our Media

Video walkthroughs of our Delray Beach campus, clinician interviews, podcast episodes, and alumni reflections.

Sometimes reading is not enough. Our media library is a way to see and hear the program before you visit — campus walkthroughs of the Hart, Siebold, Van Epps and Ranch residences, clinical-philosophy interviews with the team that runs the work, and alumni reflections recorded after they completed treatment.

If you are deciding between programs from out of state, the campus tour videos are the closest substitute for being on site.

  • Campus and residence walkthroughs
  • Clinical interviews with the RECO team
  • Alumni stories and reflections
  • Podcast episodes on addiction and recovery

Common questions

About these resources.

Practical questions about the blog, FAQ page, video library, and career listings — and where to go next.

Which resource is the right starting point for me?
If you are deciding whether to call admissions at all, start with the FAQ page — it answers the most common questions in plain language. If you are researching a specific topic in depth (medication-assisted treatment, dual diagnosis, family systems work, insurance), the blog goes deep. If you are out-of-state and cannot visit, the video tours under Our Media give the closest substitute for being on site.
Who writes the content on these resources?
RECO Intensive's clinical, admissions, and alumni staff. Blog articles are reviewed by a licensed clinician before publishing when they cover clinical material. We do not buy generic SEO content. If an article is by a specific author, their credentials are listed.
Are the resources free? Do I have to register?
Everything on this page is free and accessible without registration. We do not gate articles, FAQs, or videos behind email forms. The only place we ask for contact information is the admissions and insurance-verification forms, which exist so a real person on our team can respond.
I read an article and have a follow-up question. What's the best way to ask?
Call admissions at (866) 396-2008 — most clinical questions are answered fastest by phone. If you prefer to start asynchronously, the contact page sends to the same team.
Do you have resources specifically for referring professionals?
Yes. The Referring Professionals page covers our referral process, level-of-care criteria, communication protocols during the client's stay, and discharge handoff. Clinicians and EAPs can also call admissions directly.
Where do I find press, accreditation, or compliance information?
For press inquiries, contact admissions and we will route you to our communications lead. For accreditation, licensing, and HIPAA compliance documentation, the About and Confidentiality pages cover the public-facing portion.
